Alter Ergo is the expert in providing ergonomic solutions, assessments and preventing work-related injuries.
Our number one goal is to help you have happier and healthier employees. Simultaneously, the risk factors for injuries dramatically decreases.

The team at Alter Ergo has experience in occupational therapy and treating a large amount of musculoskeletal disorders (chronic injuries to your muscular and skeletal system due to unsafe body mechanics and positioning or repetitive motions) and is committed to preventing these injuries from happening altogether.

Crystal Nelson is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist - Level II, Occupational Therapist, Remote Ergonomics Specialist and the owner of Alter Ergo.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Mary and has certifications in:
- Lean training
- Functional capacity evaluations
- Functional job assessments
- Pre-work screens/post-offer employment testing
Crystal is an expert in work-related injury prevention for every workplace, including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and office environments. Her experience as an occupational therapist and her expertise in the treatment of upper extremity injuries fuels her passion to help people prevent the onset of musculoskeletal disorders.
